DAY 1- Drive from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Drive early morning towards the west from Kampala and make a stopover at the equator for photographs.
Proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain range for much of the journey.
You will take about 7 hours to reach Bunyaruguru county in Bushenyi district where Queen Elizabeth National Park is located.
Keep your camera ready when you reach Bushenyi District, and be sure to have your battery fully charged because your game drive will begin en route with views of Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffaloes, Hyenas and a variety of Antelope species.
If you started your journey at 6:00 am, you will arrive at Queen Elizabeth just in time for lunch.
After your lunch, go sightseeing in the crater region - it is a marvel!
Visit the Katwe Salt works for a glimpse into traditional salt mining.
Dine and spend the night at your best Safari lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

DAY 2- Explore the Kanzinga Channel
After your breakfast you will take an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to see Lions, Leopards , Giant Forest Hogs Cape Buffaloes, Elephants, Defassa Waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, Topi and Bush bucks.
After your lunch, it time to enjoy the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward.
On this trip you will pass through the area with possibly the highest concentration of Hippos and many animals as they drink along the water edges.
The launch cruise is an excellent platform for photography during your game viewing Uganda safari.
In the evening you will return to your safari lodge for dinner and overnight say for the second day.
DAY 3- Go Chimpanzee Tracking and End your Queen Elizabeth National Park Tour
After a very early breakfast, you will head for the Kyambura gorge for chimpanzee tracking and a variety of primates.

Return to Kampala after the Chimpanzee tracking. Have your lunch on route and you will arrive in the city late evening.
| Tip If you have an early morning flight, then book into your favorite Entebbe Hotel to avoid missing your flight. However, if you have an evening flight the next day, then you can book into a kampala hotel for one night and take an airport shuttle to Entebbe Airport the following day. |
