The Honda Civic is a line of small cars manufactured by Honda. Originally a subcompact, the Civic has gone through several generational changes, becoming both larger and more up market and moving into the compact car segment. EPA guidelines for vehicle size class stipulate a car having combined passenger and cargo room of 110 to 119.9 cubic feet (3,110 to 3,400 L) is considered a mid-size car, and as such the tenth generation Civic sedan is technically a small-end mid-size car, although it still competes in the compact class. The Civic coupe is still considered a compact car. The Civic currently falls between the Honda Fit and Honda Accord.

The Honda Civic has stood the test of time from its humble beginnings in 1972 as a small sedan. It evolved into a mid-sized sedan by the 8th generation in 2005. This gave the car a more spacious cabin for comfort and convenience. The design is both elegant and futuristic with its monoform features. Keeping both power and fuel consumption in check, the Civic is powered by a 4-cylinder.
There are three transmissions to choose from: Automatic Transmission, Manual Transmission, and CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). The CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) is only available for models from September 1995 to September 2005. You can choose from the regular gasoline model or the new hybrid model which gives you an extra boost in fuel efficiency.

General Honda Civic reviews for Uganda
Everything is logically laid out inside the Civic and there are plenty of practical touches to keep things neat and tidy. The side-retracting parcel shelf is a revelation that’ll surely be adopted by rival makers in the near future, while the handy wire clips ahead of the gear lever keep any unwanted cables in check. Honda’s innovative Magic Seats no longer feature due to the more complicated rear suspension in this generation of Civic, but in reality that’s unlikely to matter to many buyers.
Despite being longer, lower and wider than the old Honda Civic, the latest-generation car gains little in the way of practicality. As is the Japanese way, the new Civic is crammed full of practical touches, while a big boot and wide opening make it enormously practical day-to-day.
Space inside the Honda Civic is good. There’s loads of knee room in the back, and while taller adults may struggle slightly for head room, getting comfortable shouldn’t be a problem for most.
Honda Civic complaints basing on model year comparison in Uganda
The 2001 Honda Civic has the most overall complaints, & the most-reported problem is also with the 2001 Civic for transmission failure. The 2006 Honda Civic also received a number of complaints regarding engine issues and interior accessories.
