Bushara Island Camp is located some 9kms from Kabale on a private island on Lake Bunyonyi. The camp is set on 16 hectares of private land with accommodation in a mixture of safari tents with concrete floors and thatched roofs and brick cottages
HOTEL ROOMS(rates, types, services)
The rooms consist of some 'safari tents' which have a queen bed or 2 singles and sleep one to four guests.
The 'dove' and 'pitta' cottages are thatched with grass and good for couples or small families, each having a queen size bed and a single with private patios looking over the lake.
Then 'Kingfisher' is the camp's largest cottage for families with 2 bedrooms, a living area and private patio and can sleep 4-6. The 'Whydah Tree house' is a wooden cottage and has 2 double beds and a single and sits of stilts on a steep hill with a bird's eye view over the water.

Furnished Safari Tents: Single US$16-, double US$22, or US$39- per person sharing on a full board basis.
Full board basis includes boat transfers, all meals, secure parking, guided tour of island, morning tea/coffee. Children 4 and under are free, children 5 to 12 US$10-.
Cottages US$16-, US$22- or US$40- per night ( in one or two bedroom cottages based on single, double or quadruple occupancy).
Cottage accommodation on full board basis: US$39-, or US$44- per person (based on single/double or quad occupancy).

All rooms have views over the lake. Each tent has a private bathing facility and all cottages have en-suite bathrooms.
All tents are comfortably furnished with either two single beds or two double beds and have views of the lake. Each is privately situated with is own bathing facility and all superior tents have private composting toilets adjacent. Standard tents share toilet facilities.
The cottages offer private patios with expansive lake views, mosquito nets over each bed and private toilet and bathing facilities.
Additionally, if you intend to have a do it yourself camp you will find a pitch your own tent site with a communal toilet and shower facilities.
