Question : Good afternoon
my collegues and i will attend a conference which will take place in Kampala in few months. We're european citizens, will we need to get Inoculation certificate against yellow fever?
Answer: Absolutely!
Hello Emma, as an entry requirement to Uganda and many Africa countries, you need to have a the yellow fever vaccination certificate. I must mention however that I have seen travelers being allowed entry into Uganda without checking for their yellow fever vaccination certificate. My advice therefore is that you get the certificate and keep it with your passport before you travel to Uganda. If no one asks for it when you apply for the visa or at your point of entry to Uganda well and good, but should you be requested to present this certificate when you do not have it, you risk incurring avoidable inconveniences during you trip to Uganda.
