Protect your car paint from the sun.
Protect your car paint by parking in a garage, shade or by using a car cover.

Touch up nicks sooner than later.
Use touch-paint to touch up any minor nicks or cuts often found around door edges.

Fix small windscreen chips.
If you get a crack in your wind­screen, take it to a windscreen repair shop.
Fixing the crack will be far cheaper than replacing the whole windscreen.

Don’t try to carry too much.
Never exceed your car’s roof load specifications as this will cause wear and tear to your car.

Tape saves light covers.
A cracked light may allow your light compartment to fill with water and cause some real damage.
A good short-term fix is to tape over the crack.

Secure loads to avoid dents and scratches to the body of your car.

Avoid light fixture problems.
When replacing a bad bulb, wipe the socket clean of debris before installing the new bulb.

Inspect mud flaps.
Check for damage to your mud flaps when you wash your car,
if loose or damaged, re-secure or replace as needed.
