Question
what is the tax that i will be charged on DVDs computer accessories if i have 100 12kg boxes.

Answer

Thank you Kaddu for your question, according to the Value Added Tax Act (CAP. 349 of the Laws of Uganda), your goods will be exempted from tax if imported brand new. Otherwise if you are importing second hand, then you will be subjected to taxes VAT, Withholding tax of 6% among others…
