Question: I am in Sweden ... and hold a refugee travel document of type Geneva 1951 .. i want to visit family in kampala so what is the requirement. DOs and DONTs in detail plz Thanks

Answer: Thanks Mohamed for your question; my thinking is that as long as your Travel document has no restrictions to where you can travel, you should be able to get a Uganda Visa.

Moreover you have a genuine reason of wanting to visit your family which is here in Uganda.

For a fee not exceeding US$100, I think you should be able to qualify for a Uganda Visitors Visa.

My name is Dagmawi samson Hailu I'm Ethiopian refuge and currently i'm living in Kampala,Uganda and i married Swedish citizen by name Asmeret kunfu officially in may 2 2014. Then, i started my process but sweden immigration agency after i done well my interview they gave me refusal letter in fact that's sad. They say you have to prove your identity. first as i told you i'm a political persecuted and i can't go back my country to get a national passport but already i have July 28 1951 convention travel documents and ID cards from UN. and i proved my nationality from Ethiopian embassy in Kampala, Uganda but still i'm not get my visa to go to Sweden!
